    Default sig trailside rear sight

Does anyone know of a rear sight for the sig trailside? It's the standard
4.5" model. I know Larry's guns has them but they are for the target model.

The target model sight will fit, but the groove is in the wrong place so it hangs off the back a bit. Ugly but functional.

Why are you looking to replace your rear sight?

The stock plastic sight is loose. I can either slide in some shim stock to tighten it up or try to find a replacement. The adjustable sight hangs too far out for my taste. Are there any aftermarket sights that will fit?

Not that I know of. I am looking for a replacement sight as well because my rear sight is too low. Unfortunately Sig has discontinued production of the Trailside, which is really a Hammerli X-esse. Walther is now selling the same thing, but only with adjustable sights.

    Try calling Roco
    http://www.rocosystem.com/

They aren't cheap, but they might be able to get you what you are looking for. There was a woman that worked there whose name was Doris. She was very helpful when I needed P210 parts.

I'll keep an eye out for you guys as well.

Thanks for the info on rocosystems. Sent them an E-mail yesterday, still waiting for a response. Might just have to make one myself out of titanium or G-10 and replicate the nonadjustable sight.

Made a rear sight out of G-10. Shot about 100+ rounds so far. Right on target!! This was an easy / inexpensive fix. Well worth a little time and effort.

Nice! It would be great to see some pics.

EDIT: I learned what G-10 is, thanks Google.
