    Default AR15 Parts Thread

Im getting ready to start one (possibly 2) AR15 builds and I need to know where you guys are getting the best prices on quality parts. So far, the best deal on LPK's is from Palmetto State Armory:

This one is $63.50 and includes Magpul MOE grip:

    Standard Grip $49.95:

Complete LPK with MOE (including MOE Stock and Buffer kit) $139.99:

Let me know if you know of any better deals on LPK's as well as buffer tube kits, and MOE stocks. I'm also interested in upper parts such as barrels, receivers, gas tubes...etc

I've usually just go with Bravo Co for parts but those are AWESOME prices from Palmetto. I've ordered from them before & have their RE kit for my next build. Has anyone used the PSA LPKs & how do the parts look? I've seen their posts stating they are all of US manufacture but little as to end user reports of their quality.
Bravo Co's bare uppers go for around $400 from what I recall and their BFH uppers are about $480. I have no doubt there are others cheaper, but doubtful any of them meet the same standards of manufacture.

Ive built lowers with the PSA kit and PSA lower receiver together. IMO, best parts for the money anywhere. I have yet to have a problem with any of them.

DSA has complete lowers minus BCG and CH starting at $240.

I used two of them to build up a couple for a neighbor. Went together just fine, not the best I'm sure, but good enough for his low buck builds.

This place has flat rate shipping, $9.99
    http://www.karrisguns.com
    Complete BCG for $98
    DPMS lower kit for $53

Never bought off of them, seen them in an article in SGN.

Also watch AIM, many of the small items are free shipping, they had Spikes complete BCG's for IIRC $105 shipped.

The equipment exchange over at AR15.com can be a good place to find a deal, but you have to be quick, the real deals sell in like 2 mins I swear.

Sorry, my old computer crashed and I don't have many of the old links I had before.

Be careful buying Magpul stuff from an unknown source, some is "For Training Use Only" PTS stuff is made in Hong Kong. I just got suckered into a AFG that is a PTS one and the quality is crap, I had to replace the two screws holding it together with ones at the hardware store as the ones that came with it were only holding it by one thread.

Don't overlook Stag. Life time warranty on barrels and I emailed them and they said all barrels now come with M4 feed ramps, so keep that in mind when picking an upper.

I dropped the money on a jig for the FSB, the jig to pin and the jig to dimple for low profile gas blocks. Keep that in mind when choosing a barrel if you go the stripped route.

I have built two lowers with Palmetto MOE kits and the parts are quality. Both triggers are smooth and not gritty with no work done to them.
