Castle Doctrine Flowchart
I was assigned the task of screwing around with Microsoft Visio since I'll need to learn how to use it for my job, so I decided to make a flowchart for PA's Castle Doctrine.
I read statute and tried to interpret the logic as best I could. I'm not saying this is how the statute would be interpreted in court. This is just my literal interpretation of what the words on the books say. I think it's kind of a neat visual representation of the statute's logic, especially since there are so many caveats and exceptions which can make your head spin.
I am not a lawyer, so I'd like to see what Gunlawyer thinks of this, since he's much more of an expert on the subject than I am.
Also, I'm more interested in comments on the accuracy of the chart than my (lack of) Visio skills.
