Default Pa Game Commission hunting survey * my son now has one*

I was sent another hunting survey from the game commission. This is the second year in a row for me. Did anybody else in the state ever get selected twice? It's a shorter form this year. They want to know about going back to a seperate buck/doe season and also wanted to know about shorter seasons. Also asked how many deer seen. Does anybody know how many are mailed out? Maybe I should buy a lotto ticket with this streak of luck I'm having.

*EDIT* My 15 year old son got a post card in the mail today to let him know he was selected to get a fur taker/trapper survey. Anybody know if there is a penalty for not responding? This is getting a bit old. I hate the game commission for what they did to our hunting. This makes 3 for the last two years for my address.

Did you send in your "harvest report cards" and did you fill out the survey form last year? Maybe they figure they'll actually get a response from you.I know that my group of friends and I have never seen any surveys yet.

I'd buy a lotto ticket anyway. You gotta play to win.

I sent it in last year and I always send in report cards. 3 years ago my sister got one in the mail also. We live in different parts of the state. Strange.

I wonder , Suppose it was was posted and they recieved a larger sample of data for their survey? Say a few 1000 more from all of the satisfied hunters in the state.

i tried to ignore it once, they kept on sending reminder notices, which were more of a pain. I think I have gotten them at least 3 times.

Just fill it out and send it in. Everyone bitches about the PGC not doing enough for rifles hunters, archers, small game hunters or whatever group you personally feel has been slighted. The PGC needs information to base decisions on, the surveys are a tool of gathering information. Make their job easier, and let your voice be heard. I don't see why people get annoyed or ignore them.
