Somewhat new to the area -- where to shoot?
I moved just outside of state college last year from out of state (FL).
Luckily I already had a friend in the area that has a considerable amount of property which I was able to shoot on.
However over the past three months he has gotten heavily in to the bar scene and is always drinking or drunk.
Being around someone (with or without firearms involved) while they are intoxicated takes all the enjoyment out of the day.
It was quite the threat as I was able to setup targets in to a make shift IDPA stage(s) and place other various targets on the range.
I also have a few NFA items and no one was there to harass me about them "that's not legal -- yada yada".
So I am on the hunt for a decent range where I can have the freedom to shoot how I want and bring what I want. =(
If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations that would be excellent!
Something within a reasonable commute would be nice for I anticipate going two to three times a month.
Shooting mostly pistol calibers and a little rifle / shotgun on occasion.
Mostly short distance shooting.
I can supply targets and target stands if needed.
