MANDATORY safety briefing 9:45AM
Shooting starts at 10:00AM
$10 per shooter

Guns needed:
Center fire semi auto pistol or revolvers, no magnum cartridges
Center fire semi auto magazine fed rifle, no larger than .308
Pump or semi auto shotgun

Ammo:
Up to 100 rounds Pistol
Up to 100 rounds Rifle
Up to 25 rounds Shotgun, no larger than 7 shot.

4 stages. No slings. No major/minor. Scoring is time plus. A - 0 sec added. B - 0 sec added. C - 1 sec added. D - 3 sec added. Miss - 5 sec added. No shoot hit - 10 sec added.

Round count in magazines is limited to what the stage calls for.

Chamber flags are required for all long guns when not in use on the course. They sell them at the club for $2.50 a piece if you do not own any.

The videos I've seen are all very short range rifle - same for the March event?

Are rifle and pistol mags to be loaded to capacity, a certain limit, or do I wait to stack them at the event according to instruction on the spot?

I'll bring my sporting clays 20 gauge, but I will not fight off offers if any is willing to lend me a more suitable scattergun. I'll bring 12 and 20 loads just in case.

I would say longest rifel is about 75 yards and don't preload mags. You will be given a round count for each stage. Most stages have a mandatory reload but you get to choose how you load youe magazines within the course description.

Penalty points are missed shots? HP were based on targets correct? So if on stage one I had 30 PP's it was due to the fact I didn't shoot?

I've never competed before on any level. But I'm wondering what the stages are for this kind of compition. what are the events?
