I went to Lower Providence Gun Club for a USPSA match today. Most of us are local guys enjoying a day shooting. I was taken back when "JJ" Racaza showed up to shoot.
I had to go up and shake his hand and introduce myself. Very nice guy! I also had to rib him a little for not winning the Top Shot competition..lol.
Never expected to see one of the best shooting at a local club.

Still pretty cool to meet someone on that level. FWIW, I was talking to Julie Golob via email a little while back. We're all just ordinary people. I was still a little starstruck none the less and that was just email, not even in person.

I was at the safe table doing some dryfire and reloads . He came up and started doing the same. I had to leave the table he was so dam fast and smooth and of course he was shoting in the same division as me. So we can guess who will win all the stage points. In the fall I was on a squad with Todd Jarrett. This is one reason I love USPSA and 3gun, what other sport can the worse shooter and best shooter in the world compete in the same match on the same day -

I think you and I were shooting on the same sqad. I was with all the guys from Delco Field & Stream.
