Default OC at the PPD Gun Permit Unit

I had to update the address associated with my LTCF. So I OC'd my Glock 23 in in it's SERPA and also an extra mag on my belt.So I walked in and waited to be callled. They made copies of my address change and I was out in less that 20 min. A few people applying for permits gave me the eye. Walked passed a few officers outside and they just kept on talking.. Again it might of had to do with thr black gun against my black hoodie. There also weren't any " no firearms" signs.

You got lucky, next time you'll be proned out by a crack team of PPD Seals with a howitzer pointing at your head and the 101st airborne patrolmen ready to drop in and stomp you.
Please help my Baby Kitties and I avoid being homeless.

Why did you bother to change your address? Did they charge you another $20? When I moved they said i had no need to update my address unless I had extra cash I wanted to get rid of.

from the main road onto a side
    street, the passenger officer suddenly
told the driver to pull to
the curb because he wanted to
talk to a male walking in the
    same direction that they were
    traveling. As the officer exited
the patrol unit, the male produced
    an SKS-type rifle from
beneath his long coat and shot
    him. The 7.62x39 rounds from
    the rifle penetrated the officer’s
    body armor, killing him
    instantly. The driver exited the
    cruiser and also was immediately
    shot. The man fled the
    scene, but was later arrested,
    charged, and convicted of
    killing the one officer and
assaulting the other. Prior to the
    incident, the slain officer had
    attended a class on identifying
    traits of armed subjects. When
he saw the male in the long
coat, he thought that the man fit
    some of the characteristics.
    Sadly, the officer was “dead
    right” in his suspicion.
    This actual shooting incident
    accurately reveals that
officers must be prepared for a
    violent encounter when confronting
    a suspected armed individual.
    To help officers avoid
    these deadly situations, the
    authors present their findings
on the traits of armed offenders
    that they have gleaned from
    three studies they have conducted
    over the past 15 years.

No cost. The address on my card is the same. They just needed the updated address for their records I guess. A new card with my new address would actually be $50..

I could see the smoke and heard the blast. I also heard on my scanner when they were given the OK to drop it. Between my scanner(s) and the TV the only folks who knew more at the time were on the scene.
