Default Any Coyotes North/West of Pittsburgh?

Can anyone give me any tips on good places to hunt them out here? Has anyone heard or seen them around SGL 117, SGL 203, Raccoon Creek State Park, or Hillman State Park?

I've seen some between Butler and Pittsburgh along RT8. And I almost clobbered one with my truck a few years ago around the New Castle area on I-79.

There are coyotes in Raccoon and Hillman, I work out that way. Check up on hunting vs. no hunting areas in Racoon, boundaries are posted but at night you could easily be hunting in a non-hunting area without realizing. Areas are marked on the park maps available at the park office.

There are yotes NW of Pittsburgh as well. I live/hunt in Robinson, and I had 5 run behind my treestand in a line this past Nov. There are a good deal of the them around.

I heard from someone that once you shoot a yote, it takes a long long time to bring them back to the same area to shoot again. Is this true? Can you call them in, shot one, then be able to do it again in say a week or two?

All depends on how smart the others are if they are running in packs. If they are running alone - the others wont know what happened to the one you got. So the changes they will appear will be just as random as usual.
