red dot on a shotgun ?
My friend has a saiga 12 he wants to know if he put a sightmark Ultra Dual Shot QD Reflex Sight on it. Will it hold up or will it just kill the sight after 50-100 rounds. Any info on how much this sight can really hangle on a shotgun would help
thanks

Why would your friend put a red dot on a shotgun to begin with?

Re: red dot on a shotgun ?
you mean he wants a red dot right next to his coffee maker and toe-jam cleaner right? Tactical to me means alot of crap that weighs alot and looks like crap.

Well, the Saiga shoots soft so that should help.
Check into the lifetime limited warranty and go from there.

Re: red dot on a shotgun ?
I have a cheap tru-glo on my fox hunting shotgun ( a mossberg 835 tact ) and have fired 100's or rounds, all 3.5 inch and no issues yet.
