Re: G&A: Tips When Stopped By Police
I would not take "tips" from a police officer on how to deal with an encounter with the police. Sure, it may look clever... yet it initially surrenders important rights without any benefit in return.
And if one wishes to make a complain against the police, hilarity ensues...Join the groups protecting your rights from the fools trying to take them from you!

The comments on that site are giving me a headache. I do believe this has been posted here before (not knocking you OP, just noting it).

Re: G&A: Tips When Stopped By Police
This has been posted before, and the general consensus was to do almost the opposite of what the video says you should. Making an LEO's day easier doesn't justify giving up your personal rights-- you are a law-abiding citizen carrying a firearm legally, and thus are not a threat to Mr. Policeman. In PA, he doesn't need to know you have a firearm and most certainly doesn't need to take it to ensure his safety.
If you were going to shoot him, why would you tell him beforehand that you were armed?

Just when you get pulled over yell very loud to be courteous to the officer that you have a gun.

I agree with the OP, this should be a sticky.
Of what NOT to do.Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Actually, the rent a cop in that video is Massad F. Ayoob an internationally known firearms and self-defense instructor, I've watched some of his stuff and wouldn't hesitate to take one of his classes if he were nearby and affordable.
He's also a part time cop in New Hampshire.
