Cheap carry gear fails. I bought a few $8 pouches for a class. Carried them for a few weeks before the class to get used to them. They worked just fine. They barely survived the class, and fell apart days thereafter.

For $1 you can't go wrong. Unless you intend to bet your life on them. Just keep an eye on them and understand they probably aren't going to hold up to even 15 minutes of serious use, such as rolling around or squeezing by concrete walls. Or even something as simple as treating them like a red-headed step child because you need that mag NOW and have no time to take the sensibilities of the pouch into consideration.

    That being said, good find

Thumbs up Re: Mag pouches for $1 +tax :)

Rock on! That's exactly what I have been using for months. They stay put, even while running. Easily accessible - better than snaps.

Not everyone can throw down a chunk of money for carry gear, so having something like this for a pouch, or a multitool holster, can work wonders. The alternative is keeping it in one of your pockets, which while functional, isn't always practical for high stress and quick access situations.

If it works, then use it until you can grab something better.
