forgot to mention, its this or nikon glass and a mag assembly for the remmy 700.... but that stuff may always be there, this unheard of price for a $750 MSRP gun may not be!

I don't have anything to offer on the subject, but "$750 MSRP Gun" caught my eye. I couldn't ever remember seeing a Taurus revolver priced that high (not that I've spend much time researching Taurus pricing), so I thought I'd look it up real quick on Buds Guns.

The 8-3/8" model is $528.00 with a cash discount. At $400 for a used model, I'd say the cost of transferring the new versus the tax on the used will cancel each other out. Saving about $130 seems like a good deal to me, but it isn't nearly as exciting as saving $350 on MSRP.

GP 100 s run about that used in 90% shape Blued with 6" barrel. Or at least thats what I paid for mine $350 + transfer

That's about all they do right...but I'd still look for a used Ruger or save up more for a used S&W.

I would pass. Even if they were making decent revolvers, and for some the jury is still out on that, you could get a nice S&W or Ruger for that money or a little more. Beside who wants to deal with Taurus customer service if something isn't right?

I gave up on them a few years back and have been none for the worse since. I would not even look at another Taurus product.

But thats just me.
