    Default Steel Fun Shoot

If you like shooting very fast, steel shooting is probably one of your favorites. Shoot an array of 5 steel plates of various shapes and sizes as fast as possible. Time penalties are applied for misses. One plate is designated as the stop plate, which must be hit last. A match consists of 5 different stages. Each stage is shot 5 times, for a match total of 125 rounds. Run times are added up, along with any penalties, and the quickest shooter wins the match. This match is open to public

Heres a video of one of our stages from a couple of years ago
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUSr-WXd1rc

Holsters not required, you can start from the "low ready" position

All stages are 'Stand and Deliver" - shooter just stays in a shooter box, no movement. Each stage of steel has 5 targets - and each stage is shot five times ( best 4 of the 5 count for score ) - we have five stages in a match. Scores are grouped by type of gun you shot ( stock auto, open revolver, .22 rifle etc ),

    also http://www.steelshooters.com/index.php/Main_Page
shows some stages and folks shoot steel
Each month we have different stages, so usually never same thing twice.
