    Default H&R 732

So I'm always looking for deals. Picked this one up for under $100 - I like H&R's. Anyone know if finish is original - not sure if it was re-done or not? Also, the grips seem to have some space at the bottom, looked a little odd - any thoughts ? Jim, or anyone with H&R knowledge know? Also, I believe it was probably manufactured in the 50's or 60's - would that mean modern 32 long ammo?
    Thanks!

If it is a Model 732, it has been refinished for sure.
    The 732 was blued.
The model 733 was chrome or nickel finish.
Grips are not correct either, don't know if they changed frame size or something sometime?
I'm just not up on these like Jim Hauff.
If you give me the letter prefix of the serial # I can give you Year of manufacture.
Should be able to use 32 S&W short or long.

Thanks for the info., I figured it was re-finished, but seemed to be in good shape overall. Figure I'll get some new grips for it, and as long as it is as described - issue free, will be a nice little fun gun!
