    Default Good read on rifling twist /stability for heavy bullets

    There's never a shortage of twist rate questions on here . So heres a good article that alot of you probably wouldnt think possible or say couldnt be done.

    I had a 50bmg target rifle with a 1-9 r h twist. so, all it was really good for was about 4-500yrds with 705-750grn bullets. I found out later i had to use 800-on up.
    Never tried it, bullet tips were extremely hard to find in that weight and very expensive.
