OK long story, but it all ends up to my brother is a POS, my dad gave it to my brother and he ended up selling it since he needed money. witch it was sopose to keep on getting passed down, and since he has a boy and I have girls it made a little more since. but any way I found it and bought it back, now its mine and will stay in my collection. nothing fancy its a 1935-40 winchester 67-22. it just feels good to have something from my grandfather back.

Good Job! It feels good, doesn't it? I have an old Stevens pump 22 of my grandfathers. When he passed away, one of my uncles got it. My uncle passed last year and I was able to get it. I will only pass it to one of my kids/grandkids when I know it will never be sold.

Good for you! Keep it in the family.

I have my dad's 1906 Hamilton model 27 single shot 22, still get a kick taking it to the range and shooting it now and then, especially if my son's with me. It's headed to him next...

That's a happy reunion! I got a .30-06 and a pair of 12s that had similar circumstances. It just feels right to be able to keep em in the family.

    Beautiful rilfe... way to go.

Priceless. Make sure you and your girls don't let the cobwebs grow in the bore.

A Winchester 67 was the first gun I ever fired. Still have the rifle.

I lost 4 old guns that way...my Grandpap died and my Grandma wouldn't pass his guns on to me as he wished. So when she died last year, my cousins basically raided her estate and the guns disappeared! My mom was furious, but nothing we could do! They weren't specifically mentioned in the will...

I'm glad you had better luck with your heirloom!

The only thing more amazing than you finding it after it was sold is that your brother sold it in the first place. Sheesh...

the only reason I found out it was even sold is because he sold it to a friend of a friend and they told me. I was more than pissed. I always thought of my brother as a POS. now I know for sure that he is. Im just glad I got it back.
