    Default Henry survival rifle

Anyone own one of the Henry survival rifle. Saw how cheap they were the other day and makes me want to get one. I've read mixed reviews online ranging from there great to they can't hit the broad side of a barn at 50 yards. Just looking for some first hand input.

I have one, can't say on the accuracy.... I really wasn't paying attention tbh.

But I definitely went bang ever trigger pull even with cheap ammo, which was one thing I was concerned about based on the reviews.

A friend of mine has one abd loves it, which is what got me interested.

First rifle I ever fired was the original AR-7 back in the late 70/s~~we thought it accurate and dependable; don't know if Henry has kept the quality though I'd be tempted to try it out. My friend that had the rifle also eventually bought the pistol version.

I have an older Charter Arms AR-7 that I got through J.C.Penny mail order when the store was still downtown. It was never intended to be a target rifle, but it's still minute of paper plate at 25yds.

Not the highest quality of manufacture, but I can't think of anything else that I've used thousands of times that I bought new in 1977 and is still working. Best $80.oo I ever spent...
