Re: NFA Owners roll call
I saved up enough money to get an IMI UZI Machine gun and my mom said we could buy it, so right now it's in transfer to the dealer, and after that, the long wait for it to go to my mom.
THEN, I have to wait 7 years until I'm 21, so it could be transfered to me.
But this is our first NFA item"If the individual can govern himself, all external government is tyranny" - Benjamin Tucker.

Congrats! You have your priorities straight at your age. (wish i would have lol)
Forget about the wait and start stocking up on mags and ammo.

Re: NFA Owners roll call
You can own NFA items at 18 if you don't go through a dealer or are submitting a form 1.
You need to look into having an attorney draft a revocable living trust to register the NFA item to, and have the trust stipulate that both you and your mother can be in possession of the item, that way when the time comes, you don't need to pay another $200 for the transfer.

Re: NFA Owners roll call
Well you cant go wrong with an Uzi. They are around $6500 and up right now. Mags are cheap and plentiful. Get a registered receiver, not a bolt gun. Receivers are registered for 22LR, 9mm, and 45ACP.
Mac type weapons, M10, M10/9, M11/9, M11A1(380) are anywhere from $2500 and up, depending on how bad someone wants to sell it and what accs come with it. Anything from Lage slowfire uppers to 22LR kits from Practical Solutions and Lage Mfg.
The plastic Zytle mags work ok, but the converted PAM2 steel mags are the way to go. Conversions done by Recon Ord and US Machinegun.
There are a few other sub-guns out there in between those prices.
There are also ACC556s and Registered Lightning Links for the AR15 platform priced around $5000-6000.
