Nevada doesn't share reciprocity with PA. AZ and UT do. However, when I applied for AZ and UT I had to include a photocopy of my LTCF. They require you to be licensed somewhere else first.

So Florida is your best bet. Or moving to Bucks, Delaware or Chester counties.

Partially true, Utah requires you have a license/permit from your home state IF Utah and your state recognize each other's license/permit. So for places like NJ & NY that don't recognize any other licenses/permits they can apply for Utah without having one from their home state.

By the way, for Florida you need a new set of fingerprints each time you renew.

I live in Montgomery County and I got my LTCF here and it was so easy. I got it the same day as took my application in to the Sheriff's Dept. The only thing I disapprove of is the local police check card but the Hatboro PD filled it out and gave it back to me within 1 hour of dropping it off.

Here in Philly im still waiting for my renewal approval card....and I went down on Feb 3rd.

Appeal. Absolutely. You'll probably win. So far I never seen someone not win an appeal of philly I'm sure someone out there has lost but they probably lost because they rolled a liquor store.

about FL permit

I got carded cause i was printing as i walked into a big box store. showed my LTCF, he called it in. Delaware County office was closed, this was in philly, the cop was calling the number on the back of the card and they won't give him any info cause he was using his cell phone, so called he had to radio the station, there was alot of back and forth, back up showed up, i over heard backup whispered, "this is a delaware ltcf, we don't take delaware..."

after 20mins it was done. cop apologized for the delay then said "i just hate to see those FL permits" blah blah i showed him my Pa LTCF, don't know why he said that to me.


so if you only have a FL permit and gets carded, kno that PPD will give you crap.
