C & R license

I am new to the selling of pistols, I have a 1911 mfg in 1918 . Can I sell this to a person with a C&R license? Not very familiar with this type of license other then what I looked up on the web.

Yes, you can sell that pistol directly to a C&R holder as the arm in question is considered a C&R firearm. I would get a reciept and a copy of the buyers C&R license just to cover any issues which might possibly arise.

if you sell to a c&r, make sure you get a signed copy of their ffl. either by fax or email is good. only mail it to the address that is listed on the ffl. i have my c&r and we are supposed to keep records of everything we use it for.

besides putting all the info in your book, use a memory stick or something similar just in case.

If it's original or even close it's worth a lot more than you're asking. Might be worth your time to pull your ad until you do a little research. Maybe post pics here first. Just sayin' you might regret the sale if you don't.

Its either a colt, colt usmc, usn, or remington-umc
