    (4 hrs ago) AP

PHILADELPHIA (Map, News) - The brother of former Philadelphia Mayor John Street begins his federal court trial on fraud and tax charges.

Jury selection is scheduled Wednesday for the trial of 68-year-old T. Milton Street. Sr. He faces federal charges of mail and wire fraud.

Street is accused of plotting to defraud a minority contractor who wanted to get maintenance work at the Philadelphia International Airport. He is also accused of failing to pay federal taxes on $2 million in consulting fees.

Street's attorney, Jeremy Ibrahim, says he will not comment until the trial.

Camden's just as bad (if not worse) than Philly; I don't want a swap. I say we lump both cities in one awful, crime-ridden supercity and give it to NJ. Let them deal with it.

If I'm not mistaken good ol' Milton T. is a resident of Camden. I sort of remember him wanting to test the mayor race waters but then came up the little issue that he didn't live in phila.

As bad as phila. is Camden is much worse.

Have to agree. Just give it to Jersey. They will institute Gun Control, increase taxes and gas prices, and abandon the city like they did with Camden and Trenton.

I can't think of anything I would want from NJ in return-maybe some salt water taffy?

Prosecuting one Street may lead to another Street, and hopefully they both end up as Dead Ends.
