Re: $300 NRA Lifetime Membership
just so everyone knows, when you call up you have to call as the sponsor and add a $300 "Gift Membership" You can do any payment, but you can't call as yourself.

Re: $300 NRA Lifetime Membership
Yup, beat me to it. That is correct ^^^^^^. The Friend or Family member has to call in and PAY for the 300 dollar membership.
I would not recommend calling as the Life member and then paying with your credit card!
Oh well!!! It is a great deal if you know someone who will pay and you can drop 300 cash to them right away!!
Next best deal is 600 and get a fleece jacket!NRA Training Counselor, Chief Range Safety Officer, NRA Benefactor Member

Re: $300 NRA Lifetime Membership
Thank you UncleJimbo! What's funny is I called up and the woman on the phone said "I think I just talked to you." LOL. I feel a little bad about having to lie saying I was someone I wasn't. On top of that I think they are processing a whole new membership. I kept telling the woman on the phone that "my friend" is already a member and would she like his membership number. She didn't want it.
I hope their system recognizes this.DISCOUNTS - Steel Target Paint: beaverje10 (10% off) | Wiland USA: jbeaver05 (5% off)

That sucks. they want people to upgrade their membership yet you have to jump thru more hoops than it takes to get a LTCF from PHILLY. LOL.

Re: $300 NRA Lifetime Membership
You do not have to get the "sponsor" to call. I just did this and gave them my friends life membership # and then my info and paid with my credit card-no problems what so ever. I guess it depends on who answers the phone at NRA.

Re: $300 NRA Lifetime Membership
The correct # to call is 877-672-2000 and when prompted #3 this will get you to the "Life Membership" Dept. Tell them your "sponsor" advised you to upgrade your NRA membership with the $300 special promotion. They will ask for the sponsors NRA number and then your info. and credit card #. Took me all of about 3 minutes to complete.
