Default No longer need to display hunting license

FYI effective tomorrow 2/13 you no longer need to display your hunting license on your outer garments. It must still be with you.

Been on my back the last 20 years, it will probably be on my back the next 20.

Same here. You can bet if a WCO doesn't see a license you'll be stopped and asked to produce it.

My guess is when you have to take off layers of clothing (or put them on) as the weathers changes during the course of a day and needing to re-apply the license to your outer most garment.

Yep! I had a conversation with a WCO last fall while taking a break from chasing bears. He said that many times, he would check a hunting party with a pair of binoculars and move on. He indicated that he would probably be checking more folks initially after the regulation passed.

I will probably do the same. I already have a wallet that looks like George Costanza's. (Seinfeld fans will get that) My current hunting license is 654' long and about as thick as $500 in twenties folded up. I would have to put it in a pocket or in a back pack. I just may forget it. It will ride on my back.

It is about time they got rid of that crazy regulation. Been wearing it on my back since the '70s and will not miss having to keep track of it there... and so glad I can finally stop poking holes in perfectly good coats.
