    Default Gen 4 Glock 34?

Has anyone heard any news about when this gun is finally coming out? I've been waiting a couple years for this one.

It's mentioned in the 2012 Glock Annual, so I would think in the next few months.

They just quoted me $628 plus shipping. A little more than I want to spend. Thanks for the info guys.

Prob better off with the Gen3 at the cheaper price.

I just purchased a G35 gen 4 this weekend. Got it for 649$. You see them a little cheaper online, but they are rarely in stock at the much cheaper prices.

I got it to be my game gun. Was gonna just purchase a g34 slide and then swap them so I would be legal to shoot 9 or 40 in production class. But was told buying a slide would be just as expensive as the entire gun.. So I said I could just swap the barrel and shoot 9 and no one would be wiser..

BTW... announcing how you are gonna cheat in front of the IDPA area staff is prob not the brightest idea LoL..

From my understanding, the difference is the dual rate spring and rough texture grip..

I'll be swapping out my spring for a single rate spring and downloading the ammo to shoot minor. These factory 40 rounds are kicking my ass. Way more kick than my G21 45. Maybe it will get better as I get more rounds down range.
The problem with shooting Chinese bullets is 15 minutes later you wanna shoot again.

My only interest in the gun is the smaller grip and the new mag release. Between the two I'm hoping it actually fits my hand better than my Gen3 G17. I always have trouble dropping mags, even with the extended mag release. I thought about getting a grip reduction but I don't want to shoot ESP in IDPA. I need to find a place that has them in stock and see if the gun fits me better, if not it's a waste of money. I really don't think the extra 1 inch of barrel will be a game changer.
