I've heard of phrase, patience is a virtue, but...
I couldn't wait!
Last week, I asked about Kimber or Springfield.
http://forum.pafoa.org/pistols-41/16...nt-decide.html
I dicided that Im gonna wait for TRP thats on order to show up, but when I saw a another spanking new NM Prefixed Laoded, I couldn't wait.
Here she is!
Fresh out of case. With packing grease and all...
Next to its Brazilian half brother...
I never thought any of NM Prefix SA was any better then my N prefix loaded, but at least NM barrel bush is much tighter fit then that of my Brazilian Loaded

Jeesh! My $279 (1993 price) Norinco bushing is tighter than that.

Ya my 9mm's bushing...
I've known from the start that bushing isn't as tight as it should be.
I didn't do anything about it, as gun shot well, and tight group at 7 to 10 yards.
But after I got my wife a RIA 1911 9mm Tactical, it became very appearent as to just how lose the fit really is.
I ordered national match bushing for it, hoping that it was poorly manufactured bushing, but it wasn't.
The barrel to bushing fit got tighter, fit to slide remained lose.
It appeared that slide cut for bushing was machined little too generously.
I have been contemplating the idea of sending it to Springfield for warrently repair, but I carry my 9mm daily, and its my bedside gun, so I didn't want to give up the gun for a months while getting it fixed.
But now I have the replacement, I think thats what I'm going to do. I'm gonna send it to SACS, and get that fixed, and while they are at it, 25LPI checker, trigger job, and few other small things...Last edited by Mity2; February 11th, 2012 at 03:31 PM.
