I'm sure I'm going to offend a lot of people with this, but:

People talk a good game and says come and get them, and from my cold dead fingers, etc, but the reality is when confronted by 4 cops, no one is going to draw and fire on them.

They may deny ownership if someone knocks on the door, but if seen with a firearm, they'll turn it over.

If it ever come to confiscation...they won't ask politely! They will hold your wife or child hostage until you turn over your guns! So it's hard to say what anyone would do in that situation...the best answer is to not let it come to that! Keep on top of your Senators and Reps to fight gun legislation! Vote for pro gun candidates in elections and join the NRA. Even with their problems...I don't think guns will ever be confiscated as long as the NRA is still kicking!

Agree with Reefblue, alot of people put up a talk, but when a SWAT team is pointing SMG's at you advising you to give it up, you give it up. You dont have to like it, but I'm not going to start a shootout with the police and leave my young child parentless. You can loose a battle but still win a war.

I'd rather live on, pull back to plan B (WHICH EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE) to defend my family, and stay alive. If you dont have a plan B (and more), shame on you.

Lastly, the lack of a firearm doesnt mean you are unarmed.
