If that date in Hershey was a Saturday I would so be there but.... No way I could make it on time on a work day.

I would love to see Hank...looking like Cleveland would suit me best.
Now, If I could just convince my wife...

Just like the song goes..."All my rowdy friends have settled down..."

Had to go listen to it and realized how much truth is in that song...

"hang overs hurt more then they used to,
and corn bread and ice tea took the place of pills and ninety-proof,
and it seems like none of us do things quite like we used to do"

I will be going to Pittsburgh on May 17th, and hopefully I can remember how to have a good time. Hank usually brings out the best in me.

Thanks for reminding me about this, I am going to call all my "former Rowdy Friends" & see if there is any interest.

Well now, ain't that the truth? Hopefully since it is inside we will have no incidents. Somehow, though, I think something interesting will happen. it always does at F'n Hank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait, though. I think this will be my sixth hank concert. Can't remember, might be more. This year I will be the closest, have seats on the floor for me and Jules. Should be a crazy time once again.

My favorite song of his is the "Canyonero" commercial on an episode of "The Simpsons":

Can ya name the truck with four wheel drive,
Smells like a steak and seats thirty five.
    Canyonero...
    Canyonero...

Well, it goes real slow with the hammer down,
It's the country-fried truck endorsed by a clown.
    Canyonero...
    Canyonero...

Twelve yards long, two lanes wide,
Sixty five tons of American pride.
    Canyonero...
    Canyonero...

Top of the line in utility sports,
Unexplained fires are a matter for the courts.
    Canyonero...
    Canyonero...

She blinds everybody with her super high beems,
She's a squirrel squashin', deer smackin', drivin' machine.
    Canyonero...
    Canyonero...
    Yahh...yahh canyonero
    Whoa Canyonero.
