tax refund= new glass.
yesterday I finally placed an order for a new scope. ive been wanting a good scope for my 6.5 grendel AR ever since I built it, but could never come up with money for it, I finally got some funds in my pocket and hit the place order tab that was in my cart for a long time, Nightforce NXS 8-32x56 HS .125, I cant wait for it to get here,I have the tracking number its going to be here tuesday. I cant wait to finally have good glass on the rifle.

Its here, now im waiting on sinclair to get my unimount, that should be here by the end of the week so hopfully its a nice weekend and I can go out and give it a test run.

Will a 6.5 Grendel perform at those ranges?
Anyways thats a pretty cool scope, always hear good things about NF except for the price of course

the 6.5 grendel is supersonic to about 1000 yards, it should do very well at distance.

Awesome scope. I have the 5.5-22x56 and I love it. What rectile did you get ? I got the super fine crosshairs with a single center dot. Illuminated too. It's the one mounted on my AR in my sig.

Awesome scope.. That is the rec. I am looking for but I'm afraid the scope is out of my price range. I have been searching for a scope for weeks now for an 18" sass barreled .308 AR-10.. I just can't make up my mind to pull the trigger on a scope in the $800 to $1000 range..

its not mounted yet, the unimount should be here tomarrow, but heres a quick crappy pic, 8 power @ 92 yards, its hard trying to take a pic holding a scope and camera. I cant get any pics at high power I cant get my camera to focus that close, Ill have to get my good camera out after its mounted.

got the mount today and mounted on the rifle,
its bore sighted in and I just checked and if the zero is on where it sits now I have 40 MOA up so that should take me to 1000 yards according to the shooter app.

I got to take it out today and get her sighted in, I have to say it works great, it was bore sighted in first shot at 100 yards was about an inch left and low. second shot was dead on, then the wind started to pick up to about 20 MPH from my right, but I ended up pulling off this 5 shot group.
