Per NSSF Bullet Points..

NICS checks for the month of January...920,840...almost 1 million background checks in 1 month!
That's a 17% increase over January of last year!
Shaping up to be a good year to sell guns!

I've noticed that every time I am at my LGS recently there has been at least one person purchasing at the moment, and every time I call their line is busy (and they keep a few!)

Same here...took over an hour waiting to be "next" to buy another toy last week. Good for business, as long as folks don't wander off instead of waiting...
