    Default 10/22 Build

This was my first build of a 10/22. I was layed off for a winter and this is what I did with my time. I learned most of what I did from RimefireCentral.com.

I bought a new Ruger 10/22 Carbine and went from there. Bought a Boyds Blaster Stock sanded the finish off, (cause I didnt like the way it looked) and refinished with 6 coats of Tru Oil.
Took the trigger group apart and polished all the pin, did a trigger job (myself) and got the pull to 3 1/2 lbs. Added a Rimefire Technology Red Trigger, Mag release, Charging handle, and Barrel spacer. Needed the barrel spacer for a propper Green Mountain barrel fit. Did have the bot sent out to be nurled. After I had it done I then learned how to do it which is easy. Oh well.
Then I added a Muller Eradicator Scope 12x24x50mm with a aluminated targrt dot. What a great scope for those of you that arent familiar, with Muller Scopes.
    What a tack driver.

    Thank for looking.

That site is often recommended here for folks looking for info on the 10/22 .. and other rimfires. That being said , very nice job on yours.

Gun Fan. It is much better because I did the work, not having done anything like that before and it is a GREAT shooter. I have alot of pride in that build, and one of my grandkids is gona get it. SOMETIME.
