Where to shoot in Wellsboro area?

Hello everyone. Just wanted to check if there is anyplace my wife and I can shoot handguns in the Wellsboro area without having to be members? We will be up that way next weekend for a short vacation. Thanks in advance for any info!

Thanks for the info. Are there any special rules for using the ranges there? Do you need to have a hunting license or the Game Commission permit to shoot at state game land ranges? We both have our LTCF but that's it. Thanks again!

You can come over to Elkland and go to the Cowanesque Valley Rod and Gun club. We also have a 300 yard range if you bring any rifles.

No license or permit needed to use the range. Basic range rules are posted at the range.

Hours are 8:00 a.m. until dusk. No membership needed. No plastic or glass targets allowed. Back stops provided although some of them need to be repaired which will happen when we get some better weather.
