I imagine they will schedule more at some point, but they are booked up all across the country (and other stuff) this year pretty good at this point.

Unfortunatly, Pittsburg is not a realistic distance for me to travle for a 1 or 2 day class. The Pittsburg area seems to be HEAVY on classes and and there seems to be nothing in the Northest part of the state. I thought the price of your 1 day class was reasonable but if i needed to add 10hr round trip driving and 3 days hotel stay it becomes much less affordable for me.
I thought I saw something about Palmyra being the home range so i thought there might be som classes pending that were not posted.
I'm glad to see the positive feedback on the class.
maybe I will see you in future yearsThe only easy day was yesterday

Re: Northern Red one day Carbine Inception March 4th, Palmyra PA
This was my first carbine course. I've taken a couple of pistol courses before, but never anything with the rifle. So I was one of the novices on the line. IIRC, I think about 1/3 or so of the class (during introductions before we hit the range) indicated that it was their first carbine class as well. I'm just about certain there were a few people on the line for whom this was their first class, ever.
I personally learned a lot and would recommend it even if you are a novice. I would also, I can throw my 2-cents in, recommend doing a bit of prep work before coming out to even an introductory "no prior experience needed class." Nothing big or dramatic- just make sure that you fire the gun enough to have a rough 100-yard (or even 25- or 50- yard) zero (that's what NR uses; being on paper is probably "good enough," as your groups will get better with JD's feedback, so you'll need to make adjustments anyway) and also make sure that your gun runs with the ammo you're feeding it. Some people didn't do this prior to the class and they ended up spending a lot of time being frustrated and fighting their gear when they could have been focusing on what JD was teaching and improving their shooting.
Feel free to PM or email if you have any other questions.
