Thanks ProGunCop, I think that is the kind of range report we were all looking for.

I'll be looking to pick one of these up soon

Picked up my LCP on Saturday and was a bad girl who didnt' clean before shooting the first hundred rounds through it. Had several jamming problems that are probably related to not having cleaned it first and a possible magazine issue (and fair warning - the jams this tends toward can be a real PITA to clear). Fit and finish feel fantastic and trigger is much nicer than the P3AT. Pull is very long but otherwise comparable to my Kahr. Recoil is manageable...probably a bit lighter than my Kahr with its +P carry ammo, but there's not a lot to hang on to even with my smaller hands. It's ridiculously accurate given the size. After I put a few hundred rounds through it and pick up an IWB for it, it'll definitely be carried.

I'll give it a proper cleaning and report back.

    As a side note:

I saw a guy selling one at the Harrisburg this past weekend for...$415.00

He had it sitting next to the Kel-Tec P3AT's ($249.00)

I didn't ask to see it, But it looked pretty much the same as the Kel-Tec with a better finish on the slide. Anybody know what the deal between Ruger & Kel-Tec is? I mean they are so close, I'd think Kel-Tec was making them for Ruger or could there be a lawsuit on the horizon? I'd be curious to know how Ruger can make such a close copy of somebody else's gun, So if anybody knows, Let me know.

    Thanks

Did you buy it locally? Targetmaster has them priced at $319 which seems a bit high compared to some of the prices listed on here.

I got mine at Targetmaster. Figured by the time I paid for shipping and FFL, the price wasn't that far off and they generally takes care of me when we shoot there (weekly or biweekly - we get a lot of mileage out of our membership).

here is how much it would cost me:

    319
    plus tax $19.14

    total of $338.14

    online

    260
plus shipping $25 maybe less but we will say $25
    ffl transfer $12

    Total $297

$338 minus 297 =$41.00 unless saving 41.00 bucks isnt enough of a savings. But i guess you could have offered them $290 out the door or a free box of 100 rounds .380 isnt cheap

The money for one of these pistols is burning a hole in my pocket. Can't seem to find one anywhere in this neck of the woods. Demand appears to have outpaced the supply. Dealers don't have 'em and can't get 'em ? Wusup with that? Is this the same story state-wide or only here on the East Coast of PA?

My dog "Ruger" is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to $3.00 a can. That's almost $21.00 in dog money.

Pray for our troops....and a little extra for our snipers.

More like $35 for a transfer....more if it's a gun they have in stock.

Guess the whole "holding it in your hands" thing, is of no value.

Shipping will probably be closer to $30 too....they go UPS overnight.
