open carry in mercer county

Has anyone from mercer county area been an active oc. Curious as to how all the local police have responded. I cc now but would love to open carry with out harrasement from the local law. any insight would be appriciated.

I OC everywhere I go...Only place I've had issues was the Eastwood and Southern park malls. But that was just uneducated security guards just "trying" to do their jobs.

I’ve been everywhere around the valley and rarely get encounters. Few times at sheetz, people more curious than anything. Then your typical Wal-Mart bs. But nothing too exciting.

Two police encounters. Both shook my hand and said they wished more people would carry to raise awareness to your rights and protecting ones freedom.

Well i don't have a Uah permit so i'm not carring in ohio. Was just curios about are area. Don't see anyone open carry. i have a few friends who want to. Wondering about a oc meet and greet in this area. most seem to be in eastern pa. what are your tthoughts ScarMack

i ran into a guy that OC's all the time and said business managers have never bothered him,its usually just your everyday ppl that dont like it, he said to just be nice to them and go about your business, I'm going to try it once I get a good holster!! right now I CC!!!

I think that would be a awesome thing! My family owns Thelma's Sports Nook in Sharpsville. So I can talk to the manager about setting something up, maybe a coupon discount for everyone who open carries?

It gets easier. The more nervous you get, the more people notice. If you act like OCing is perfectly normal, then others will start seeing it as that. Perfectly normal.

Attitude and demeanor drive how others perceive you and your actions. The rest is a lot of common sense.

Also, wait until you find the one hot chick who thinks guns are sexy.

I've open carried all over Hermitage and Sharon with nary a problem. Scarmack, Thelma's is an awesome place to eat. The place has done a 180 since it was Danny's.
