The 9mm ejector should be lower. A slide milled for a .45 should accommodate the 9mm ejector.
I told you, I've already been there and done that. They are the same height. The 9mm ejector is longer (toward the front), and offset toward the centerline of the pistol. A slide cut for a .45 ejector will NOT clear a 9mm ejector. That's why my convertible uses "hot swappable" ejectors.
