There are several small clubs around but nothing where you can just show up and shoot. I haven't been there since they started charging for permits, but am debating on going for a hunting license or waiting until June to purchase my permit.

Curious... how were they supposed to warn you (and presumably everyone else) other than putting up a sign or two?

Well snap. Who knew the game comission joined the interwebs. On a side note, people who do this: "First, don't shoot up the framework used to hold the backstop material" need to be staked out over ant hills. Seriously.

Well never saw one sign posted out there and I go every friday to shoot. First sign I saw was when I went Friday to shoot. And that sign was laying on the ground all rolled up. Well I hope this time they really do fix the place up. Last year they closed for a week for remodeling and NOTHING was done! Unreal. Oh wait a minute....they did put up some new post's that people shot up....lol..lol.. I would like to know when they plan on reopening. If anyone hears, please post.

I was there yesterday...its open. They repaired all of the wood on the backstops. Now if they could spread some gravel around the benches so I don't have to walk through 4 inches of mud.
