hang in there, they are starting to show up.i have had one for a few months and it was the best 610 dollars i have spent in a long time. as far as issues with them, i have only heard or seen two. you know how it goes i don't own one but i heard they are junk,bla,bla,bla.jump over to another forum and run a search. good luck

They had some roll marks on them not an issue with mechanics. It's taken care of now.

I have one its one of the finest 1911 that I own for the money $625 with taxes for mones some were lucky enough to it for $525, that price was mentioned but after being bump up on the waiting list the price went up. Really more buyers are buying at $600+ then less. For the money its all the 1911 you will need SS with all the quailty feature a right hand shooter will need. I have 5 1911s and it rates 3rd Behind the E series S&W and my persoanlly semi custom Colt Commander. I rate it above the Kimber because the Kimber has some plymer parts the Ruger is al steel.
The Ruger Sr1911 is a very good 1911 IMHO.
