CC at the Academy of Music ??

Went to see Joe Bonamassa at the Academy of Music this evening. It was very much a middle-aged crowd but I suppose a bit scruffier than they usually get there. Anyway, they took a quick gander at all the ladies' purses and did a cursory wanding. The wand flashed some at me, so I pulled a flashlight out of my coat pocket. "You're fine sir."

Good, 'cause it would have sucked to have to go back to the car 3-1/2 blocks away, had they done a closer inspection.

Thanks for the info Ewussor. How was the concert? My friend turned me on to Joe last year and I couldn't believe I hadn't heard him before.

I'm taking my wife to Les Miserables at the Academy this weekend.

Show/playing was excellent, although IMO whoever was running the sound board could have done a better job.

Pretty much the same. Our daughter sent us this last year and we were instantly hooked!

Well, we went to the 1pm matinee showing of Les Mis today at the Academy and there was zero security. My guess is their level of security depends on the particular show / concert.

Went to the Academy of music for the Nutcracker a couple weeks ago. No issues cc ing. No security at the door, just some helpful people telling us how to get to our seats.
