Another Father / Daughter Range day. She keeps wanting to go
She took my new AK with drum for a spin, then went back to her Colt Muddy Girl ( with donut and ice coffee of course ). Dad had fun shooting some flame out of the new AR pistol. Ended up at pistol range where she trained some more with her Ruger LC380 .........

I can't shoot this well, but "bamboomiss" can.
She just about ran the slate at a BP pistol shoot around two weeks ago: 6 shots taken, the best 5 shots scored (Ruger Old Army), 22 yards, score: 50-1X!
If they scored the 5 worst shots, she still would have scored a 49...
I'm gonna need some practice just to get on the board!

Gotta work on the cheek weld a little but the kid really chewed the center out of the target today. First time out with his first 22. He's shot mine before but this one's his.

Photo from a few months ago at the public shooting range in/near Laughlintown. The range was a swamp. I forgot ammo for a Mosin that isn't in the photo, and forgot magazines for the AR pistol. I assume that this range is typically a swamp?

What a great way to spend the 4th. Breaking in the AR I just built and soon we're headed to the city to watch the Phillies play the Braves.
This is the first group out of the rifle. Only 50 yards off a sand bag but I was pretty happy with it. The one in the 7 ring was aimed at another target before I got it sighted in. I jerked the one in the 10 ring but the other 4 are right in there.

Was at Elverson with my daughter today. We spent about 3 hours there...she's been shooting since she was 4, but today was the first time she's shot an AR15.
Was a lot of fun seeing her shoot her 22.
