Typical weekend to the range (back yard)

I noticed your combloc weapons are the only ones with wood furniture.

I actually went out back and verified that the new-to-me Glock 23 works with my handloads.

I took out my 20 inch build today. What a pleasure it is to shoot two inch groups almost effortlessly with iron sights. I know 2 inch groups are nothing to brag about for some but I am happy with that. It is just an Anderson lower with an A2 upper coated in Brownells Alumi-Hyde. Dark Parkerizing Gray is the color. The only part worth mentioning is a Colt BCG with the open face or half moon end. Everything else besides the plastic, sling and delta ring are current manufacture. The pistol nearby is just a stock Beretta 92.

I went out today to test out a new muzzle device, Lantacs Dragon compensator.
Boy I am not disappointed. I was worried about buying this a few days ago because I wasn't
sure it would actaully hold to be true of what they say.

This thing is awesome for follow up shots and being able to stay on target.

Took the m1a out again today. She finally loved a reload I fed her.

Finally got out to sight in the new Ruger SR 5.56 I bought off a PAFOA member. I'm happy with this for the first time shooting it. Nice shooting gun. I like it a lot.



Then I had to play around and try shooting off hand to see how I would do.



Then shot at 50 yards. Going to bring it down and get it in the white at this range next.

Went shooting yesterday. What an awesome day outside. Took my recently traded Steyr AUG A3 and my Savage that I rebarreled in 6.5 Creedmoor to Elverson range yesterday. This was my first time shooting a 6.5 Creedmoor and I am very happy that I went with this caliber.

I also love Steyr firearms and always wanted to own an AUG. This thing is really nice to shoot...the trigger is pretty good for a bullpup.

pic is from a couple weeks ago. My son and I were able to get a good amount of time on the 200 yrd range. No scope, just shooting irons and using a new spotting scope I got recently super cheap (barska/colorado model $52 bucks) works excellent for shooting paper at 200 or even 300 yrds.
