A few weeks ago I went shooting with one of my buddies, he brought 5 targets and I had 10. I questioned him on just having 5 and he assured me he'd be fine. After shooting I could see why...his shots were all over the thing, mine weren't like yours but they were shot out and needed replaced.

I fired off one Pmag's worth of .cheap crap steel cased .223 in my driveway today to vfy function of the AR I just put together. I think my neighbors all shit their pants so that's always a plus.

Thanks. Just a part of my never ending quest for that perfect load. And proof that what I make and sell for a living is right. I won't sell what won't shoot.

I tested out my JP silent capture spring in six different AR’s, and made a quick video for a few members following the ‘share deals’ thread. I thought this might be the better place to insert the video though. Unfortunately, you can barely hear the difference in the video, but when your ear is next to the buffer tube it’s noticable.

All in all, I really like the reduction in spring rasp and the smoother bolt operation. If they weren’t over $100 each, I would have one in everything I own!

I finally took my new-to-me CZ 82 to the range today. The target is 2 magazines worth (24 rounds) from 7 yards. I think the pistol is going to be refinished, and become a carry gun, once I know it's reliable.

Got in some range time today.

I need to work on my upper body strength.

Also, I think my rear sight is slightly tilted. May need to find a good gunsmith to check it out.

And I need shooting glasses with a cheater lens. I can't get focus on the front sight anymore.

Got to the range yesterday. Made sure to function test the bayonet on my SKS among other things.

I went to 717 Armory last night to sight in my Mossberg MVP 7.62 in. I just recently mounted a Bushnell Banner 4x9 scope to it and needed a zero. After shooting a 3 to 5 strings I had the grouping pretty good. I did the zero at 25 yards so I'll have to double check it for 100 yards when I get time. On the second target I only shot one full magazine of 10 rounds and I was able to get 5 shots grouped into a hole about the size of a quarter.

This was yesterday but close enough.

Took the AR's out for the first time in over a year. Didn't do too bad for being rusty.

PSA CHF M4gery at 50 yds with open sights. Fully-semi-automatic rapid fire. 1-2 seconds between shots, using Fiocchi .55 gr .223.






Center was an M400 with a cowitnessed Vortex Venom red dot.

Top right was rhe 522 with Federal bulk box.

Bottoms were the PSA again, guesstimating where the bulls eyes were, because I couldn't see them in the overcast low light with old man eyes.





This was under the shoot 'n sees after 4 mags with the PSA.




I did ping the gong a few times at 100 with the PSA. It was hard to hear because of the report echo.

Overall, not too horrible. I was happy with it but it's official, I need to get glasses.
