Daughter wanted to go shooting. Took several handguns and rifles. Here she is with the Featherlite 22 and then with her new Charter Arms Pink Lady

Sunday was my first range trip with my new CZ 75 P-01. It feels very similar to my SP-01 Tactical in my hand and points just as naturally. Having said that, you do notice the shorter grip length. The trigger feels pretty good and again is very similar to my SP-01.

I really like the look of the P-01, would love to shoot one some day. Congrats.

Monday is my wife's 30th birthday, so I figured I'd try something different. I picked up a walther ppx 9mm for her as a gift, and gave it to her last night. She liked it, so I arranged for us to have time to hit the range today. This wasn't her first time shooting, but her first time at an actual range. She was nervous with the other guns going off, but she got used to it. I first gave her my New 1911-22 to try to get used to the mechanics of shooting. She did ok with that, and we stepped up to the 9mm. She had a blast with it. I broke out my 1911 in 45 and she did ok with that. I think she is hooked, after we were done she wanted to know when we are going back again.

Loving my Ruger gp100 match champion even when it's 8* out

Took the S&W 457 and Kahr 380 out for a spin. Just like all my other S&W semi's, this 457 was amazing. Minimal recoil, felt more like a 9mm and dead on accurate !
Was the third time out with the Kahr - trying to get it "reliable" - I like my Kahr's but hate that their break in period is needed - takes a few hundred rounds before they straighten out - unlike Glocks, etc. that are ready to go round 1 - lol. After another 50 rounds or so today, the ftf's stopped happening and I'm almost ready to sign off as "carry ready" !

And took the FR8 out - very nice ! Took it to my gunshop after and everyone was eying it - several asked where they could get one - lol. Nice rifle - very happy. And the old surplus Pakistani ammo shot great too !
