some of my favorite events are the friends of the nra banquets and the yearly nra conventions. lots of fun to be had here. not to mention getting to meet some great people with similar interests.

Do i have to acctivate the insurnace

Its been a while since I had to do mine, but yes you do have to activate it. You do not have to list your guns or anything , but there is a form that you send back for them to activate it....and there is no extra fee. Its all covered under your membership.

I have heard of the 300.00 for life membership offer earlier this year.
Does anyone know if it is still available to the masses???

As far as I know the life membership for $300 is still available. You just need to call 703-267-1000 and tell them you would like to sign up for the $300 life membership. They'll most likely put you on hold and you'll have repeat yourself to the next person. You'll just need the membership # of someone that is already a life member (and your # if you're already a member of the NRA). If you want you can pm me and I'll give you my #. Same for anyone else that is interested.
