CC into Butler County Court House
After a year of trolling on here this is my first post. Needed to get my dog license so I stopped at Butler County Court House. Went into lobby and told the first Deputy that I was carrying a legal pistol. He ask to see my LTCF I gave it to him and he studied it for about a minute. Started to get worried that something was wrong. After a minute he took me to the lockers and I put my gun in it. Went through the metal detector, got my dog license, went and got my gun and left with no problem. Everybody was very pleasant.

Re: CC into Butler County Court House
Many states, including Pennsylvania, require you "BUY" a license for all pets.
The license must be obtained yearly and displayed on said animal. Also, rabies vaccine etc... Just another way to show that the STATE owns your ass no matter what, to include licensing for a pet, ie TAX!
Further, the State of PA actually has STATE JOBS called "Dog Warden's" who enforce the animal code...shots, license, running loose etc...they are employed under the State dept. of Agriculture. Cool huh?

PA also offers a lifetime dog license-life of the dog not the owner.
Let's not forget there are still species of tropical penguins living in the Galapagos.

Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

I was really surprised at the dog laws here, when we first moved about 10 years ago. Really really strict stuff. At least compared to where I've lived before.

Re: CC into Butler County Court House
When I lived in Philly and had to serve on a jury I carried and when I checked in to the courthouse and told em I was packing, they did not even ask to see my CCW and showed me right to the lockers. Not an issue at all
