I find that wilson combats work great in every 1911 that I have slapped them into, yeah they cost more but they work, I have also had good luck with McCormacks and Act mags -metalform mags required some screwing around with them to get them to work properly. Brian/ EFR Note this is my personal experince with these brands in Colts , springfields , turkish clones and in para ord. and in Fusions.

My dog "Ruger" is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to $3.00 a can. That's almost $21.00 in dog money.
Pray for our troops....and a little extra for our snipers.

I seem to have that same problem lately...
Wilson, Chip McCormick, and Night Hawk Mags are all quality mags, although I have yet to have a problem at the range with any of my factory mags...
I carry Chip's though

This seems to be a very common obsession, extra money and the interest in fire arms.Lets be real, there is no exra money, ever! as long as the family and bills are taken care of,an empty wallet is the norm.
Just be fare, everybody gets their own little peace of the pie and life is good!
