Was told I CAN'T carry
I work for a large towing company by me as a trailer mechanic. I am now doing on call road service (which could put me in the worst areas at the worst times) and I was told "No wild west" when I go on a job. Thats when I would want my gun with me the most. Just wanted to throw this out there and get some input on the situation

Re: Was told I CAN'T carry
Their job, their rules. Live by them, or find another job.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Re: Was told I CAN'T carry
Well it's their rules I'm afraid.
If my job put me in harms way I would find another job, or carry anyway.
Those are your only two choices as I see it.FUCK BIDEN

Re: Was told I CAN'T carry
I understand that its their rules and i have no intentions on going against them. I just dont see how going on a call at 3am and wanting to carry would be an issue. I have never and will never carry into my place of employment, but at 3am i will be nowhere near company grounds

Re: Was told I CAN'T carry
What do they mean by "no wold west"?
Does that mean no carrying or does it mean no open carrying" Sounds to me like no "open carry". That leaves you the option of CC which is better than many of us who cant carry at all at work.

Re: Was told I CAN'T carry
What they never know can't hurt you.
"X is what percentage of Y?" Divide the first number by the second, multiply the answer by 100. Add a percent sign. Think.

Re: Was told I CAN'T carry
That comment is up for interpretation, I think he meant he didn't want you to ride there brokeback bare back with spurs on.
If God didn't intend us to have guns why would he have given us a trigger finger?

Re: Was told I CAN'T carry
They probably don't want to pay for Act 235 training, nor be found civilly liable in some way if you shoot somebody on the job. (see for example the idea of respondeat_superior)
I'm not offering an opinion on their choice or yours, just suggesting what they might be thinking.I am not a lawyer. Nothing I say or write is legal advice.
