Library Sportsman Association
Does anyone have any feedback on this club? I am looking for a reasonable place to shoot, mostly pistol range, in or near washington county and came across there website.
Thanks

Re: Library Sportsman Association
I used to be a member there - the only thing they have going for them IMO is the indoor pistol range. Lots of silly restrictions there - max. 5 rounds loaded for pistols, 3 rounds for rifles (rimfire only). Max range at the pistol range is 25 yds. If you want to shoot closer, you have to go in front of the shooting positions (folding tables).
You might want to take a look at Dormont-Mt. Lebanon Sportsmen's Club - http://www.mdi.net/dml/
I'm a member there, and shoot as often as I can. The only drawback is the lack of an indoor range. Lots of opportunities to compete there, and the outdoor pistol is set up much better than at Library. If you'd like to take a look around, PM me.

Another thing I forgot about Library Sportsmen's - you are not allowed to shoot at human/silhouette targets - bullseye-type targets only.

Re: Library Sportsman Association
Beautiful range, nice trap and skeet fields and a really nice indoor pistol range. Everything is well kept and maintained. As noted above, there are some silly restrictions such as: no silhouette targets, limited magazine capacity (5 for handgun, 1 for rifle), slugs only in the shotguns on the rifle range. And the outdoor rifle range closes at 7:00 PM as I found out tonight!
