Armed Female Suspect

Well, I have read numerous threads and posts about how people would react to a MALE committing an armed robbery. Several arguments got fairly heated. So, my question is how many have envisioned the same scenario involving a FEMALE armed robber? Would you react differently? Hesitate? This recently happened, I believe, in Armstrong county. Female, 2 guns, one shot fired.

Being new here, I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed and i missed the thread.

Are you implying that a woman with a gun is any less lethal than a man? Or are you struggling with the idea of women as evil aggressors? Gender has nothing to do with evil, and a weapon evens the playing field. I assure you that my firearm is no less capable because it is in my hands instead of yours. The real criteria is in the intent and training of the person holding the firearm.

Regardless of the gender of someone attempting to rob me, I will use whatever means necessary to come out of the situation alive and healthy. I intend to assume that their presentation announces their intent, and respond accordingly. I propose you do the same.

I wish I could say that I wouldn't treat her any differently, and that a threat to my life is the same no matter whether or not it has a penis. However, I can't truly say. Never really thought about it, really.

I would and HAVE kicked a woman's ass when she is resisiting arrest...gender has no bearing.

I wouldn't treat an armed woman or child any differently than an armed male.

Too many case of children killing law abiding citizens because know they will not be tried as adults and most will walk at 18.

I'm a firm believer in equality. Equal rights com with equal responsibilities, and equal punishments for indiscretions.

If you point a gun at me, my response will be the same regardless of gender.

Sometimes I think some of the scariest criminals are the teenagers who are ruthless and care for nobody, yet are considered "juveniles" so they figure they can get away with whatever they want.
