Best buy in my area ?
A couple of years ago , I had to liquidate all assets to save my home.Well I saved it.I am looking to replace some pistols . I'm interested in a G 17 and a G 36 or 30. I do like the Glocks and am looking for the best deal around the Clarion area. I am also willing to travel should I find something of interest in any reasonable distance. Help. Open for suggestions.
Thank you.

Re: Best buy in my area ?
Hi there. My name is Joe and im from down by the Pittsburgh airport. I get up to Clairion sometimes for work. Its beautiful up there.I just wanted to make a suggestion to you.Over the last few years I have bought many pistols from local gun stores. Just recently, perhaps over the last 5 or 6 months , I have been pricing and buying guns from online web sites. I will tell you, the money I have saved is incredable. For me, thats the only way to go from now on. Try looking up some guns on CDNN and places like that. Good luck.

Re: Best buy in my area ?
Just sent an email to my sister/brother inlaw. They and their grown kids have lived in Clarion all their lives. You won't find anyone more into guns than they are. I'll let you know where they buy their's as soon as I get a reply.
I was born and raised in Clarion. Most of my relatives are in that area.

I'm from up near warren originally and your not that far from both Grices and and Army Navy store in Clearfield. I always stop there when I visit back home. Might be worth your while to check them out. Good luck rebuilding your collection and congrats on saving your house.

There is Route 66 Sporting Goods on, well Route 66. You can try River Valley Surplus in Ridgway. His prices are great and the drive is about an hour. Give him a call at 773-3237.

Re: Best buy in my area ?
I was just at route 66 sporting goods today and they had a G17 and a G30 no G36 though. And they were pretty well priced suprisingly, much less than I expected... usually their prices are a bit high. Sad part though, is that I went there with every intention to but a new pistol and left with just a new hat.
I live only about 20 mins from you dman, so if you wanna shoot sometime PM me.

Re: Best buy in my area ?
Keep in mind the previously owned market as well.
Maybe try www.gunsamerica.com and www.gunbroker.com to see if you can find any good deals.
It took me quite a wile to find a used G19.
Glock is one that once people buy them they usually do not get rid of them so there are not many used on the market.
For new online consider www.budsgunshop.com.
Their prices look the best.
But my first choice is to support the local gun shop if at all possible.
I do recommend you avoid Gander Mountain - their prices are always the highest possible (I go to Gander to look at them since they have a large selection but then I go and order it from my local gun shop.)
Just some thoughts ...
God bless!!
